The City of Honolulu with State help is spending nine billion dollars and counting to transport people 22 miles from Kapolei to Ala Moana Center. Meanwhile the ocean highway sits neglected.
What other state would allow vast parts of its land mass to not be linked together by the most useful and affordable mode of transportation for people and their goods and services?
All this could be done for billions less than the questionable Honolulu Rapid Transit and create greater prosperity and security for the whole state.
